Substitute Café Service Providers

Griswold Public Schools is seeking substitute café service providers to join our food services team and help nourish the minds and bodies of our students. This is a great opportunity for friendly, reliable individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are looking for flexible, part-time work during school hours. As a substitute, you'll step in to support our regular food services staff when needed.

Responsibilities include: assisting with the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff, operating kitchen equipment and following food safety procedures, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and cafeteria areas, providing excellent customer service to students in a positive, respectful manner, and collaborating with a team to ensure smooth and efficient meal service.

Ideal candidates will enjoy working around children and as part of a team, be dependable, punctual, and flexible, follow food safety and hygiene protocols, and be comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light to moderate lifting.
