Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) at Rocky Meadow Counseling, you will:

• Manage a caseload of clients by establishing rapport and creating positive, confidential relationships while adhering to professional boundaries and ethical guidelines.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to monitor progress, discuss treatment modifications, and initiate discharge planning when clients achieve their treatment goals.

• Design, implement, and regularly review person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.

• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate progress notes to ensure continuity of care and compliant record-keeping.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate new clients and determine appropriate interventions.

• Participate in weekly individual supervision to foster professional development and enhance counseling skills.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate client care and share insights that might enhance treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers around youth and young adults dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. You will work closely with clients aged between 12-25, addressing their specific needs through tailored therapeutic techniques and interventions that resonate with their development stage.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• Ability to fulfill the internal credentialing requirements of our clinical setting.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience working with clients who have psychiatric disorders or substance use issues.

• Proficient in performing assessments, and offering individual and group therapy, especially within a remote setup.

Compensation and Benefits\n
