Java Full stack Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Java Full stack Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate with experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, APIs, and cloud-native solutions to support enterprise business objectives.


Rate Range: $50/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Java Full Stack Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and JavaScript to deliver scalable and user-centric software solutions.
• Build and support RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability across enterprise applications.
• Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and Angular Material to enhance user experience.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, implement caching strategies with Redis, and support event-driven architectures using Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot application issues, and support CI/CD and DevOps initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years of hands-on software development experience building enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, and RESTful API development, with experience designing and maintaining full-stack applications.
• Experience with Microservices, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including cloud-native application development, deployment, and support.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $65.00 per hour
