Labor Category: Exempt
Clearance Level: Secret
Pay Rate: $75,000 - $80,000
About the Role
The Quality Control and Safety Manager provides direction, leadership, and guidance to ensure alignment with quality policies, strategic objectives, and organizational goals that are accomplished safe, on time, and error-free. In addition, responsible for the Environmental and Safety operations of the organization.
What You'll Be Doing
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, with 5+ years of experience in Quality Management and/or HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental)
- Professional certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) in Quality Management and/or Quality Engineering preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management; Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and base access
- Experience with MAXIMO CMMS or similar computerized maintenance management systems strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and general industry safety programs required
- Experience conducting quality assurance (QA) audits, safety inspections, and surveillances.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions
- Strong problem-solving skills utilizing QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Ability to read, interpret, and discuss technical drawings, specifications, and regulations applicable to federal and civilian environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Windows)
- Strong customer service skills, including active listening, responsiveness, and follow-through
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of management, staff, and external partners
- Demonstrated leadership through professionalism, accountability, and alignment with company values and operating principles
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Practical knowledge of workplace safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure efficient retrieval of information
- Consistently deliver high-quality work and service
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols; perform work in a safe and secure manner
- Complete all required training within established timelines and demonstrate reliability in all aspects of work
- Ability to effectively follow oral and written instructions and resolve issues with minimal operational impact
- Participate in required meetings, training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities
What We're Looking For

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 30 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, standing, sitting, walking, stooping, bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
- Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around various hazards.
US Pay Range
$75,000—$85,000 USD
