Drive continuous improvement in the group. Keep the Quality Manager informed of all issues affecting the performance of the department, product quality, or delivery.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate department work schedule according to the needs of the production scheduleResponsible for ensuring department quality procedures are documented accurately and are followed by all department membersUtilize an amp meter and a Flluke meter to ensure proper function of the unitTroubleshoot electrical issuesSupport production needs as directed by managementResponsible for ensuring department quality procedures are documented accurately and are followed by all department membersAssist in coordinating day-to-day activities to meet production goals efficiently by establishing and monitoring performance to standard.Assist in initiating and following up on Engineering/BOM changes, NCM, and material discrepancy procedures.Collect and analyze data to monitor and improve product delivery, quality, efficiency, and safety.Conflict resolutionMaintain ISO standards and quality assurance practicesAdministrative duties include, but are not limited to: charging labor hours, completing SIC’s, holding daily tier meetings, updating the schedule, and managing the QMS dashboardCommunicate quality and personnel issues to the Quality Manager in a timely manner.Be able to perform all the duties of the Final Tester position.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or related experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility and willingness to train and mentor employees using work instructions and hands-on guidanceExperience with basic hand toolsWorking knowledge of production schedulingAbility to read and interpret work instructions, bills of materials, production schedules, and blueprintsStrong interpersonal and conflict resolution skillsDemonstrates a high level of professionalism and confidentialityEffective verbal, written, and presentation communication skillsProficiency in computer applications, including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, Excel, and QNovaPreferred Qualifications:Experience with crane and forklift operation preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to perform medium-level physical work, including exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds continuously to move objectsRegularly required to walk, stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and liftRequires close visual acuity for tasks such as reviewing and analyzing data, working on a computer, reading detailed materials, performing visual inspections of small parts/defects, using measurement devices, and assembling or fabricating componentsWork is performed in a controlled environment with minimal exposure to adverse conditionsWhat We Offer:Competitive salaryComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.Flexible work scheduleGenerous vacation and paid time off.401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching.Professional development opportunities, including tuition reimbursement and conference attendance.Company-sponsored social events and team-building activities.State-of-the-art equipment and tools to support your work.Equal Opportunity Employer: We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
