Location: Dallas, TX | Mestex
Are you someone who takes pride in precision and quality work?
Do you have experience operating a brake press or similar fabrication equipment?
Are you confident reading blueprints and working with tight tolerances?
If so, Mestex is looking for you.
What Youll Be Doing
- Set up and operate brake press equipment to bend and form metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Perform coining and air bending operations
- Use precision measurement tools to ensure accuracy and quality
- Load, position, and adjust parts for proper forming
- Transfer and manage machine programs from server to equipment
- Perform basic machine adjustments, including crowning offsets
- Download and review prints for component inspection
- Safely operate powered hand tools and overhead lifting equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What Were Looking For
- Hands-on experience operating a brake press or similar fabrication equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math skills (measurements, angles, tolerances)
- Experience with precision measurement tools
- Team-oriented with a strong focus on safety
