Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Tryfacta is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our client in Lafayette, IN 47905. This is a temporary 13 weeks contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!

Location: Lafayette, IN 47905

Duration: 13 WEEKS

Start Date: ASAP

Work Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
Active BLS certification
CNMT or NMTCB certification (required)
Adult Hospital and Nuclear Cardiology experience
Ability to start and maintain IVs and safely handle radioactive materials

Responsibilities

Perform Nuclear Medicine imaging and diagnostic procedures
Conduct Bone Scans, HIDA Scans, Gastric Emptying, MUGA, Liver Imaging, and Lung Scans
Perform SPECT and Nuclear Cardiology studies
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient safety
Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team

Additional Information

On-call required (rotating one week at a time, including weekends)
Cerner charting
