About the Position

Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: Any active state RN or compact license accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC and ASLS preferred Must-Have: - BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications - Patient care experience for diverse age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics - Experience in a Level II trauma center preferred Description: Position available for an experienced Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. The role requires floating across various emergency departments. Shifts are three 12-hour night shifts per week. Nurses will manage a patient ratio of 4-5 per shift. Every other weekend and every other holiday availability is required. Expertise in handling trauma patients and critical emergencies is essential. Candidates should possess strong skills in IV management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and ventilated patient care. Experience with blood product administration and procedural sedation monitoring is preferred. The facility cares for a wide variety of patient diagnoses, such as respiratory distress, chest pain, sepsis, and strokes. Interdisciplinary support is available, including respiratory services and pharmacy. Successful candidates will meet compliance requirements before starting the position.
