  • Screw sheet metal panels together according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Install insulation within sheet metal assemblies as required.
  • Use power tools such as drills, grinders, plasma cutting equipment, impacts, and saws to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
  • Lay out, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on materials using tape measures, levels, and squares.
  • Use a calculator and tape measure to perform accurate measurements, including reading to 1/16 of an inch.
  • Fasten seams and joints together with bolts, rivets, caulks, and metal drive clips to create secure assemblies.
  • Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Assemble and fit pre-fabricated parts to form subassemblies and complete larger mechanical assemblies.
  • Perform mechanical assembly of large equipment using hand tools and basic mechanical knowledge.
  • Apply construction-related skills such as carpentry, drywall, metal roofing, or general construction to support fabrication and assembly tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to support safety and efficiency.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and quality standards while working with sheet metal, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and support a productive team environment.
Essential Skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Ownership of steel-toe footwear suitable for a fabrication shop environment.
  • Ownership of a basic set of hand tools (wrenches, socket wrenches) or the ability to obtain them within two weeks of starting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints to support accurate assembly and layout.
  • Experience with sheet metal fabrication, including cutting, fitting, and fastening.
  • Background in installation assembly or fabrication work in industrial or construction settings.
  • Experience using levels, squares, and other layout tools to ensure precise measurements.
  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in working with tools and large mechanical systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Why Work Here?

You join a hands-on, team-oriented environment where your mechanical and construction skills directly contribute to building substantial, real-world products.
