Position Summary

The Recruiter / HR Generalist is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle while supporting day-to-day HR operations within a growing medical device organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers and leadership to attract top talent, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the full employee lifecycle in a regulated environment.

Full-Cycle Recruiting Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and success profiles.
• Draft and post job descriptions aligned with regulatory and operational needs.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and industry networks.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with cross-functional teams.
• Manage candidate evaluations and feedback collection.
• Prepare and extend employment offers in collaboration with HR leadership.
• Oversee onboarding coordination and new hire integration.
• Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and source effectiveness.

HR Generalist Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records.
• Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment coordination.
• Track PTO, leave requests, and assist with FMLA administration.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Assist with maintaining HR policies and employee handbook updates.
• Support employee relations matters and performance documentation.
• Assist in conducting workplace investigations as needed.
• Maintain HR dashboards and reporting metrics.
• Support training coordination and compliance tracking.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of recruiting and/or HR Generalist experience.
• Experience in medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience recruiting for technical or regulated roles.
• Strong knowledge of employment law fundamentals.
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
