The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and current Ford certification. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing work outlined on repair orders and accurately diagnosing necessary repairs. If you're ready to put your skills to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you!Company Benefits:Health, Medical and Dental InsuranceCompetitive Compensation: $80,000-$130,000 for Ford Certified TechnicianPaid VacationGrowth opportunitiesEmployee vehicle purchase plansInvolved in Top TechsAutomotive Service Technician Responsibilities:Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsAutomotive Service Technician Qualifications:2+ years of Service Technician experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent. ASE certification preferredFord Certification requiredPrevious experience at a Ford dealership is preferredB level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine RepairDexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordinationMechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competenciesPositive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improveEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentTeammate with ability to collaborate with others effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbout Us: Mountain Grove Ford offers more than just a job.
