Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Ohio PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience providing outpatient physical therapy interventions such as posture training, strengthening, balance, gait training, and functional skills training.
• Experience with common PTA modalities and equipment including hot/cold packs, whirlpool, ultrasound, TENS, therapeutic pool, and assistive devices.
• Demonstrated ability to document patient progress and communicate treatment plans with supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous outpatient clinic experience.
• Experience training patients in community re-entry and use of orthotics, prosthetics, and mobility aids.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Floating between nearby clinics may be required.

Provide patient-centered rehabilitation focused on safety and function. You will implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist, monitor patient response, educate patients and families on body mechanics, and participate in team conferences and quality improvement initiatives. You must follow safety protocols, maintain equipment, and comply with clinic policies.
