Retail Store Manager

Position Overview Store Manager – LEGO® Brand Retail, South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, CA. Responsible for delivering inspirational guest experiences, building the LEGO® brand, and leading a high‑performing team. Responsibilities Inspire a store team to deliver inspirational guest experiences and build the LEGO® brand. Drive sales while providing a signature experience for every guest. Demonstrate results orientation by meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators, maintaining impeccable merchandising and cleanliness standards. Lead the team in recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining top talent. Oversee day‑to‑day store operations including cash management, loss prevention, scheduling, payroll, and performance management. Maintain sound operational practices to enhance efficiency and profit. Execute LEGO® service model, complete monthly mystery shops, and increase repeat business through NPS promoters. Provide continuous product knowledge and service training. Collaborate with peers, partners, and other departments to drive business performance and create a positive working environment. Qualifications Proven management experience in a retail environment. Experience with point of sale systems, loss prevention and cash management, recruitment, selection and training, scheduling and payroll management, performance management and conflict resolution, space management, and visual merchandising. Effective organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Demonstrated computer proficiency. Strong leadership, coaching, and collaboration skills. Physical Requirements Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Must lift at least 30lbs. Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Compensation Salary range: $66,683.00 – $100,025.00 (based on responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints). Comprehensive benefits will be communicated upon offer.
