Assembly Technician
Job Type: Part-Time | Entry Level | Up to 28 Hours per Week
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Assembly Technician to join our production team in Woodstock, IL. In this entry-level position, you will play a hands-on role in assembling equipment used by emergency services professionals across the country. No prior experience in this specific industry is required — we will train the right candidate!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly of appliances for the emergency services industry following standard operating procedures
- Read and follow basic work instructions, assembly diagrams, and build sheets
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Inspect finished components for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
- Report any defects, damaged materials, or safety concerns to a supervisor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Ability to read simple work instructions or assembly diagrams a plus
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand/power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus, but not required
