Medical Support Assistants (MSA)

Location : Waco, Austin & Temple, TX

Compensation : Starting at $18.44-$21.74/hr + Contract Benefits

(Austin location making $21.74/hr, and Waco & Temple locations making $18.44/hr)

-6-Month Contract | 6-weeks of onboarding/paperwork before starting

We are actively hiring Medical Support Assistants to support a major initiative with our client supporting veterans. This is an excellent opportunity for healthcare administrative professionals looking to gain experience within a federal healthcare environment while making a meaningful impact on Veteran care.

What You'll Do:

• Schedule patient appointments

• Register patients and update records

• Coordinate care and referrals

• Provide administrative support to clinical teams

• Communicate with patients, providers, and healthcare staff

• Maintain accurate documentation and data entry

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of patient scheduling, patient registration, medical receptionist, or healthcare administrative experience

• High School Diploma or GED

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Medical terminology knowledge preferred

• Microsoft Office proficiency

• Typing speed of 50+ WPM

• Ability to pass a federal background investigation
