Position Overview

Cardinal EMS is seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our growing team.

Our EMTs are often caring for people during some of the most difficult or vulnerable moments of their lives. Responsibilities

As a Cardinal EMS EMT, you will:

• Arrive on time and prepared for your scheduled shift.
• Pick up patients in a  safe and timely manner while making every effort to minimize unnecessary wait times.
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout the entire transport.
• Treat every patient with  kindness, patience, dignity, respect, and love.
• Safely operate company ambulances and follow all traffic and safety requirements.
• Properly assess, monitor, and care for patients within your EMT scope of practice.
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload patients.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, healthcare facilities, dispatchers, and fellow crew members.
• Complete patient care reports and other required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the ambulance, equipment, and supplies.
• Complete required vehicle and equipment checks.
• Follow Cardinal EMS policies, procedures, HIPAA requirements, and applicable EMS regulations.
• Work together with your partner and the entire Cardinal EMS team to provide reliable service.
