Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Radiation Oncology Physician, you will join our collegial team at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. As part of our team, you will work alongside local and regional cancer care specialists, all dedicated to improving quality, enhancing patient experience, and advancing clinical standards for those we serve. The ideal candidate will have an interest in GU, breast cancer, and CNS. Experience with HDR (gyn and prostate) and radiosurgery is highly desirable. This individual should also be capable of working at multiple locations in the nearby area that include Seattle, Burien, and Federal Way if needed. Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families.To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Radiation Oncologist, You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.Be capable of working at multiple locations that include Seattle and nearby locations in Burien and Federal Way.Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teamsProvide ongoing management and follow-up care for patientsOffer guidance and support to patients and families regarding educational resources and community servicesCollaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to careStay current with research and best practices in Radiation Oncology to provide evidence-based careWe are offering a guaranteed salary, starting bonus, and relocation assistance.
