Applications Engineer

We are seeking an Applications Engineer to perform technical services for oil and gas operations. This role involves applying standard techniques and procedures for various products and services, troubleshooting technical issues, and serving as the key interface with clients at well sites. The position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic field environment.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in daily operations and safety meetings, including toolbox talks and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)Maintain equipment and work areas in safe, presentable conditionsMonitor and analyze data to recommend optimal services and solutionsPerform comprehensive job planning, tool preparation, mobilization, and executionProvide 24-hour availability to respond to customer needsTest, operate, and maintain tools according to established proceduresDevelop and maintain positive client relationships to ensure repeat businessFollow up on equipment failures and contribute to Root Cause Analysis reportsPerform engineering calculations and data interpretation as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 2 - 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industryKnowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics, pneumatics, and/or hydraulicsStrong mathematical and basic physics/chemistry knowledgeComputer proficiencyCritical thinking and complex problem-solving abilitiesExcellent time management and decision-making skillsService-oriented mindset with strong quality control focusPhysical capability to perform required field tasksTravel Requirement: Up to 10% domestic and potentially international travel#LI-KP1Weatherford is a leading global energy services company.
