Azure Data Engineer With Power BI

Power BI Developer with a strong focus on Data Engineering and Reporting solutions to support enterprise data initiatives.

This role combines hands-on data engineering and ETL development with business intelligence and Power BI reporting delivery, ensuring that business stakeholders have timely and accurate insights.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI & Reporting Development
Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and self-service datasets.
Implement data models (star schema, snowflake, data marts) tailored for reporting.
Create reusable DAX measures, Power Query (M) transformations, and semantic layers.
Ensure reports and dashboards follow governance, security, and performance best practices.
Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and report automation.

Data Engineering & Integration
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data into data warehouses.
Work with onsite data architects and engineers to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance.
Build optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting and analytics needs.
Support integration of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into reporting environments.

Collaboration & Offshore Delivery
Work closely with onsite leads, data architects, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Provide status updates, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure alignment with enterprise BI initiatives.
Collaborate with offshore team members to maintain consistent coding standards and best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of reporting workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

Required: 6–9 years of experience in Data Engineering & Business Intelligence. Strong hands-on skills in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service).
