Prep Cook

Experience a Michelin-caliber atmosphere in an exclusive upscale membership lounge, where guest satisfaction and the highest culinary standards are our top priorities. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our growing kitchen team.
In this role, your primary responsibility will be to assist the culinary team by preparing ingredients, organizing mise en place, and ensuring the kitchen is fully prepared for service. The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest quality and sanitation standards. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in supporting the kitchen team and contributing to overall guest satisfaction.
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Essential FunctionsPrepare ingredients for service including chopping vegetables, butchering proteins, preparing sauces, and portioning items according to standardized recipes
Set up and stock prep stations with all necessary mise en place
Follow instructions from the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Kitchen Managers
Maintain organization and cleanliness of prep areas and kitchen equipment
Ensure ingredients are labeled, dated, and stored properly according to food safety standards
Assist line cooks and chefs with additional preparation tasks as needed
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
Comply with nutrition, allergy regulations, and kitchen safety standards
Must obtain a Food Handler Certificate within two weeks of hire
Assist with restocking kitchen items and maintaining proper inventory levels
Help ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently
Fill in and support other kitchen areas when needed as directed by kitchen leadership
Follow all health, sanitation, and food safety guidelines
Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours as needed
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, carrying, and climbing stairs
Ability to work in both warm and cool environments
Must be able to tolerate common food allergens including peanuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish
