Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Warehouse AssociateHours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pmPay: $18.00 - $24.00/HRDuties:Physically check in incoming parts from suppliers and package/ship outgoing parts to customersKeep the shipping area clean and organized, including removing garbage and cardboard to dumpstersPerform accurate Inventory Cycle CountsIndividually package stock items for shelvingLabel and organize all stock items clearlyRotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out)Prepare packing slips in SagePrepare lot labels as requiredUpdate Sage with confirmed delivery dates and ship dates from suppliersUnload shipments using pallet jacks or sit-down forklifts (forklift experience preferred but not required)Lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand for the majority of the shiftCount inventory by hand as neededQualifications:Coordinate logistics with shipping companies and work with customs to ensure fast clearance of incoming shipmentsVerify and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipmentsMonitor supply levels and provide reorder lists when neededCommunicate with vendors via phone or email to follow up on open issuesPerform general office tasks such as answering phones, filing, and handling documentationCollaborate with Spare Parts, Service, and Accounting departments to support smooth operationsParticipate in the on-call rotation (13–14 weeks per year, including holidays), with compensation provided for on-call coverageMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentAssist in other warehouse or departmental tasks as assignedWhat does Express offer to you?Weekly paychecks!Vision InsuranceMedical PlanDental Plan401(K) Retirement Savings PlanLife InsuranceReferral Bonuses (Earn up to $125 for each person you refer to Express!)Why Express Employment Professionals, Appleton WI?Express, Appleton WI placed over 1,350 people in 2024 just in the Appleton area!We provide our associates with excellent comprehensive and competitive benefits!When you apply to us, you apply to 100+ companies in the Fox Valley!Over 170 people were hired to a permanent position in 2024.
