Contract | Nights | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 77-bed Medical unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:8 on nights
• Operate and manage unit equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
• Work various shift lengths and days as required; flexibility is essential as hours and shift preferences are not guaranteed
• Float to additional units as needed, including a cardiovascular unit and a general medical unit
• Adhere to professional nursing attire and facility dress code standards
• Complete unit-specific orientation and training program prior to independent assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date
• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience (up to 10 years preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical or religious exemption required prior to contract start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical setting with chest tube and wound vac management
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Experience floating across multiple units in an acute care environment
