Pediatric Echo Tech

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Echo Tech to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and management of congenital heart disease in pediatric patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Schedule

• Monday Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography on pediatric patients, including neonates to adult congenital patients.
• Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) in the cath lab and operating room.
• Independently manage and conduct echocardiographic studies with a focus on congenital heart disease and surgical repair.
• Maintain knowledge of PACS and portable echocardiography equipment.
• Scan an average of up to 8 patients per day.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pediatric echocardiography lab.
• ARDMS Certification in Pediatric Echocardiography or CCI Pediatric Cardiac Sonography required.
• Active certifications: BLS, RDCS-Adult, RDCS-Peds, RCS, RCCS.
• Extensive knowledge of congenital heart disease and relevant surgical procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The pediatric echo tech will work primarily in a children's hospital environment, utilizing Epic for charting. Applicants must have skills in GE echocardiography equipment and be prepared to contribute to a high-paced medical team focused on pediatric care.
