SDVI Architect

Job Overview We're looking for an experienced SDVI Architect/Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud-based media supply chains on the SDVI Rally platform. You'll sit at the intersection of media operations and cloud engineering – turning complex content processing requirements into automated, scalable workflows that move content from ingest through QC, transformation, and delivery. This is a hands‑on role. You'll be writing supply chain logic, integrating third‑party processing applications, and working directly with media operations, engineering, and vendor teams to keep content flowing efficiently and cost‑effectively. What You'll Do DoArchitect, build, and maintain automated media supply chains in SDVI Rally, from ingest and normalization through QC, packaging, and distributi onDevelop and maintain supply chain logic and presets using Pyth onIntegrate and configure third‑party applications within Rally (transcode, QC, audio processing, captioning, etc. – e.g., Telestream Vantage, Interra Baton, Dolby Hybrik, Venera Pulser)Design workflows optimized for cost, throughput, and resource utilization across cloud infrastructure (primarily AW S)Work with media operations teams to translate business and editorial requirements into technical workflow desig nsTroubleshoot and resolve supply chain failures, media processing errors, and integration issu esBuild and consume REST APIs to connect Rally with MAM/DAM systems, scheduling, rights, and delivery platfor msMonitor performance and drive continuous improvement – identifying bottlenecks, reducing processing costs, and improving automation rat esDocument architecture, workflows, and operational runboo ksStay current on SDVI platform releases, new Rally features, and the broader media supply chain ecosyst Must-haves es:Hands‑on experience architecting or engineering workflows in SDVI Rally (or deep experience with comparable media orchestration platforms with a fast ramp expect ed)Strong Python skills – you're comfortable writing, debugging, and maintaining production workflow c odeSolid understanding of cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, I AM)Working knowledge of media formats, codecs, and wrappers (IMF, ProRes, XAVC, MXF, DNx, etc.) and delivery specs for OTT/broadc astExperience integrating media processing tools – transcoders, QC engines, audio/caption process ingFamiliarity with REST APIs and JSON-based integrati onsStrong troubleshooting instincts – you can trace a failed job through a multi‑step supply chain and figure out what actually br okeClear communicator who can work with both engineers and non‑technical operations st Nice-to-haves ves:Experience in a broadcaster, studio, streamer, or media services environ mentKnowledge of MAM/DAM platforms and metadata mo delsFamiliarity with CI/CD, Git, and infrastructure‑as‑code pract icesUnderstanding of content localization, versioning, and compliance workf lowsExperience with FinOps / cloud cost optimization in media processing cont #J-18808-Ljbffr 5V Video
