Sales Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Inside Sales Assistant to join a growing team. In this role, you will bridge the sales and customer service operations by streamlining order processing, handling payment transactions, and partnering directly with outside sales personnel.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and possesses top-tier communication and problem-solving skills. salary: $20 - $22 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through product selection by delivering accurate, tailored product insights.

• Manage end-to-end order entry, prioritizing accuracy, payment processing, and timely dispatch.

• Conduct proactive follow-ups to verify smooth delivery and complete customer satisfaction.

• Deliver high-touch, empathetic support across email and phone channels to address questions and resolve concerns.

• Troubleshoot complex customer issues swiftly and professionally to maintain retention and trust.

• Partner with Account Managers and outside sales reps by drafting orders, managing administrative tasks, and removing operational friction.

• Act as a reliable knowledge source for inventory availability, custom pricing, and shipping timelines.

• Work hand-in-hand with warehouse, shipping, and billing teams to guarantee flawless order fulfillment.

• Facilitate clear internal communication to address special requests and resolve cross-functional bottlenecks rapidly.

• Actively gather customer feedback to identify opportunities that elevate the overall client journey.

• Execute key administrative duties as required to keep sales and service operations running smoothly.

• Propose smart refinements to internal workflows to drive operational efficiency and service quality.

• Serve as the dedicated voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring inquiries are addressed promptly.
