Infrastructure Engineer (Software-Defined Storage & Kubernetes)Help Build the Future of Enterprise StorageWe're seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to help design, deploy, and scale a next-generation Software-Defined Storage (SDS) platform supporting modern analytics, AI, and data-intensive workloads.This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on platform architecture, technology selection, and infrastructure strategy while working with cutting-edge storage and Kubernetes technologies. You'll be part of a highly technical team responsible for building resilient, scalable, cloud-native storage solutions that power enterprise-scale environments.What You'll DoDeploy, configure, and operationalize software-defined storage solutions such as Ceph, MinIO, or similar platforms within Kubernetes environmentsEvaluate emerging SDS technologies and contribute to platform architecture and engineering decisionsDevelop automation for deployments, upgrades, and operational workflows using scripting and infrastructure toolsCreate monitoring dashboards, alerting strategies, and operational runbooks to support highly available storage platformsPerform performance benchmarking, scalability testing, and resiliency validationPartner with infrastructure, security, platform, and application teams to integrate and harden storage solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve complex storage and infrastructure challenges in production environmentsContribute to architectural standards, documentation, and engineering best practicesRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Storage Engineering, or a related disciplineHands-on experience operating distributed or large-scale storage systems in productionStrong Linux systems administration experienceBachelor's degree in a technical field preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be consideredRequired Technical SkillsSoftware-Defined StorageExperience deploying, administering, tuning, and troubleshooting SDS platforms such as:CephMinIOSeaweedFSApache OzoneSimilar distributed object storage technologiesCeph experience is highly preferredKubernetesExperience deploying and managing storage infrastructure in Kubernetes environmentsUnderstanding of containerized infrastructure and storage integration patternsAutomation & ScriptingExperience developing operational automation using:PythonGoBashSimilar scripting languagesDistributed SystemsUnderstanding of:High availability architecturesFault toleranceScalability principlesDistributed storage conceptsNice-to-Have ExperienceS3-compatible object storage architectures and protocolsObservability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetryHelm charts, Kubernetes Operators, and deployment automation frameworksStorage security concepts including encryption, certificates, secrets management, and identity/access managementCI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Large-scale enterprise production environmentsAI, analytics, or data platform workloadsWhy This Opportunity?This role offers the chance to influence the development of a strategic storage platform from the ground up.
