Pediatric Oncology/Infusion Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Oncology/Infusion Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional nursing care to pediatric patients. The position is designed for individuals with a strong background in pediatric oncology, including chemotherapy administration and patient management.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a pediatric oncology setting.Administer and monitor chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed.Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain detailed medical records through electronic charting systems.Manage central line care, infection prevention, and isolation precautions.Coordinate symptom management and provide education to patients and families regarding their care.Float between two departments based on facility needs.QualificationsCurrent RN license in South Carolina or multi-state/compact license.Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in pediatric oncology and MedSurg.Certifications in BLS, APHON, and PALS required.Experience in administering blood products and managing peripheral and central line care.Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.Strong skills in pediatric dosage calculations and IV management.Work ScheduleThis position requires a commitment to a day shift consisting of 5x8 hour days from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend or on-call requirements.Additional InformationParking permit available; fees may apply for certain parking facilities.Hurricane season awareness: employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during this time.Orientation details to be provided upon hiring.Client Details City Charleston State SC
