Location: Fremont, CA – 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: $66/hr
Duration: Through 12/31/26 , with potential for extension based on performance

About the Role:
This position will lead change management and program management activities for an RFID technology deployment supporting gas and electric meter operations. The role will work closely with field technicians, material leads, software vendors, and metering OEMs to develop and improve workflows, deploy RFID technology, and drive key project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead change management activities and drive adoption of new workflows
• Manage program milestones across the Crawl, Walk, and Run phases
• Work with field technicians and material leads to develop and refine meter check-in/check-out workflows
• Partner with software vendors to improve applications based on field feedback and observations
• Coordinate the deployment and maintenance of passive RFID readers, antennas, and mobile readers
• Coordinate with metering OEMs on shipping new meters with RFID labels
• Support contractors performing audits and RFID tagging of existing meters
• Support RFP-related activities as needed
• Apply strong program management practices, including risk tracking, meeting documentation, stakeholder alignment, follow-up, and forward planning
• Communicate findings and recommendations to various levels of management
• Develop reports, analyze data, and provide business insights
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and proactively address unsafe conditions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of related experience or equivalent
• Experience with project/program management or engineering
• Experience leading change management
• Experience with RFID technology deployment
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and reporting tools
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage complex programs
• Experience working in a regulated environment preferred
• Must be a local candidate able to work onsite in Fremont, CA

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP or PE certification
• 5+ years of post-graduate engineering or project management experience
• Experience with operations and new technology deployments
• Energy industry experience
• Experience managing or directing teams
• Strong ability to motivate stakeholders and drive project goals
