Schedule

Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM. Expectation to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide therapeutic services to patients in the acute care setting as well as the inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF). The role involves collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy programs, using adaptive devices and equipment.
• Participate in team conferences and engage in family training.
• Maintain accurate records using EMR - Meditech.
• Adapt interventions based on patient needs and progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Occupational Therapy license.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Weekend flexibility and willingness to work on the IRF unit.
• Hospital/IRF experience and stroke/neuro experience are highly preferred.
