Direct Care Worker (DCW)Location: Tunkhannock, PA (Wyoming County) Company: Familiar Roads Home HealthcareJob SummaryFamiliar Roads Home Healthcare is now hiring Direct Care Workers (DCWs) in Tunkhannock and surrounding communities throughout Wyoming County. We're looking for compassionate and dependable individuals ready to make a difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities through in-home support and companionship.Qualifications (Required)Applicants must meet the following Pennsylvania state and agency requirements:Completed Competency Exam or PA-compliant training program per Department of Health (DOH) standardsCurrent CPR CertificationRecent TB Test & Physical Exam (within the past 12 months) — QuantiFERON-TB Gold or equivalent acceptedProof of Pennsylvania Residency for the past two (2) yearsTwo (2) Valid Professional ReferencesClear Criminal Background CheckAbility to speak, read, and write English proficientlyNeat appearance and practices good personal hygieneResponsibilitiesAssist with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting)Meal preparation and feeding supportPerform light housekeeping and laundrySupport with mobility and transfersProvide medication reminders (non-clinical)Observe and report changes in client conditionBenefitsFlexible scheduling (including mornings, evenings, and weekends)Bi-Weekly payPaid training and onboardingSupportive and inclusive team cultureSign-on bonus availableServe UPMC, Keystone First, and PA Health & Wellness clientsEqual Opportunity Employer StatementFamiliar Roads Home Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
