Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
• Previous experience working with K-8 students in a special education setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families
• Organizational skills and a passion for supporting diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver effective individualized instructional plans for students with special needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum as necessary
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining up-to-date records
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions
• Implement interventions and differentiated strategies to support academic and behavioral growth
• Foster a positive, safe, and welcoming classroom environment for all learners
