Step into a dynamic contract opportunity providing expert physical therapy services to K-12 students in a welcoming school environment near Cleveland, TX. This part-time role is designed for a dedicated PT who values meaningful interactions and enjoys working with a diverse student population. You'll play a crucial part in helping students access their education and reach their full physical potential.
Your role will encompass direct interventions, conducting evaluations, and supervising a PTA to ensure quality care and support across your caseload. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through 5/21/2027, offering you stability and the satisfaction of long-term impact. With a 20-hour workweek spread over 2.5 days, this position allows for a healthy balance between your professional and personal commitments.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid PT license or credential in the state
- Previous experience in a school-based PT setting preferred
- Competency in evaluating students and creating IEP-driven treatment plans
- Ability to supervise and mentor a PTA effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to student-centered and inclusive practices
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate K-12 students as part of the special education process
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Track progress, update goals, and participate in IEP meetings
- Supervise and support a dedicated PTA
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
