(USA) Member Specialist

Position Summary As a Member Associate, you will provide member service, maintain the checkout area, resolve member issues, promote Sam's Club products and services, guide members on self‑service technology, process member purchases, handle payments, returns, refunds, exchanges, and maintain safety standards and sweeps. You will manage merchandise handling, report unsafe situations, maintain entrance and exit areas, assist members with purchasing decisions, zone the area, arrange merchandise, assist in transporting items, maintain a safe shopping environment, review receipts, safeguard assets, maintain logs, execute emergency response procedures, and comply with security and safety practices. Responsibilities Assists with the training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures. Teaches new technology and tool functionality. Delivers new programs rollout training. Provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities. Ensures area of responsibility is maintained per company policies by properly handling returns and identifying shrink and damages. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, using the Open Door Policy. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress; recommends improvement opportunities; and adapts to change. Qualifications Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (cash register). Experience working with mobile retail applications. Payment The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00*; the actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
