Senior Construction Estimator

Senior Construction Estimator Location: Fairfield, OH Job Type: Full-time Salary: $95k-$110k/yr Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates for site development, utility, concrete, asphalt, and heavy civil construction projects using plans, specifications, and contract documents. Develop and assemble bids utilizing estimating software while ensuring compliance with project requirements and deadlines. Solicit, review, and organize material and subcontractor quotations to support complete project pricing. Analyze drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to identify risks, discrepancies, and value-engineering opportunities. Coordinate with customers, engineers, designers, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve questions and clarify project requirements. Manage multiple bids simultaneously, tracking deadlines, quote coverage, bid status, and outstanding information. Support project turnover by preparing budgets, schedules, bid documentation, and job files for project management and field teams. Requirements: Minimum 10 years of construction estimating experience required. Experience estimating site development, utility, concrete, asphalt, or heavy civil construction projects preferred. Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, scopes of work, and contract documents. Proficiency with estimating software and computerized takeoff systems. Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, production rates, and pricing. Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. High school diploma or equivalent required.
