Mohegan Tribal Government Job Posting
Incumbent provides interior and exterior cleaning and sanitation duties at the Mohegan Community & Government Center, including all tribally owned properties.
Minimum Requirements
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for a commercial office building
- Knowledge of Universal Precautions and Sanitation protocols, to include appropriate measures in the prevention of cross-contamination
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to use commercial cleaning supplies, equipment, chemicals, and chemical solutions
- Ability to read labels and instructions on cleaning products
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, including pushing/pulling, kneeling, climbing, crouching and reaching
- Ability to work in high areas using both ladders and aerial lifts up to 80 feet
- One (1) year of commercial housekeeping and/or environmental services experience in an office environment
- Must complete downstream waste recycling training and best practice training
- Must complete Biohazard training
- Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule
