Staff Accountant

A well-established manufacturing company in the West Valley is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their close-knit corporate accounting team. What They're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 2+ years of accounting experience Experience with a large ERP system (Microsoft Great Plains or similar strongly preferred) Familiarity with manufacturing operations, ideally in a multi-site or multi-state environment Solid knowledge of GAAP, GL accounting, AP, AR, and Payroll Ability to work within tight deadlines, including a fast month-end close cycle Team-oriented mindset; this team does a little of everything Responsibilities Prepare general journal entries, including intercompany transactions, and perform GL account and bank statement reconciliations Handle AP and AR functions including invoice processing, data entry, vendor/customer account review, collections, and payment processing Monitor AP/AR communications to ensure accurate and timely application of payments and remittances Create and maintain periodic reporting, fixed asset tracking, bank reconciliation, and other ERP system modules Assist with daily, weekly, and month-end close processing; prepare statistical and financial reports as needed Provide accounting support across multiple departments and locations Research and resolve accounting discrepancies as they arise Maintain organized accounting records in accordance with records retention requirements Support additional tasks as assigned by accounting leadership #J-18808-Ljbffr Addison Group
