About This Role The RN in the Burn/Trauma Step-Down Unit provides direct patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager, focusing on building competency and supporting unit activities. Highlights Pay: $37.12 - $50.11/hour Location: Rochester, NY Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital Schedule: Full-time, Rotating shifts What You’ll Do Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. Contribute to unit activities and support the care delivery system. Support peers in the delivery of patient care services. Care for patients recovering from burn injuries and poly‑trauma. Provide holistic care to critically injured burn patients. Monitor patients requiring higher levels of oxygenation and close observation. Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Exhibit strong communication and organizational skills. Manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Education New graduate nurse with less than one year of experience.
