Community Day Charter Public School (CDCPS) seeks passionate paraprofessionals with outstanding academic backgrounds to work with our school teams, renowned for closing the achievement gap. CDCPS manages multiple campuses across Lawrence, MA, and serves 1,200 pre-kindergarten to 8th-grade students. CDCPS has dedicated teams to support our teachers, ensuring our students' success.CDCPS Paraprofessionals are educators who are excited to provide individualized support to help our students demonstrate growth and mastery at grade-level standards. CDCPS Paraprofessionals support and deliver effective, high-quality, rigorous instruction in various settings to support the school's needs in grades Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, and First grade.Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Provide small group or one on one behavioral and academic support to a specific student or small group of studentsProvide one on one student support based on specific needs outlined in the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)Collaborate with teachers to ensure accommodations/modifications are being met in the inclusive classroom settingAssist the teacher in the day-to-day operation of the classroomPromote the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical talents of each childParticipate in two-week training in the summer, and during the school year, participate in a year-long professional development series during early release daysProvide coverage as neededEngage in all other duties as assigned by your supervisorCompensation:We offer a competitive compensation package and comprehensive health benefits.
