Full-Time Anesthesiologist Opportunity – Mercy Medical Center Merced

Position Overview

Coachella Valley Anesthesia is seeking a Full-Time Anesthesiologist to join our team at Mercy Medical Center Merced. This opportunity offers a consistent schedule, highly competitive compensation, and the flexibility and autonomy of an independent contractor practice model within a supportive clinical environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual compensation of $800,000–$1,000,000 , depending on experience
• Full-time 1099 independent contractor model
• Malpractice insurance provided
• Additional earning opportunities may be available

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for scheduled and emergent procedures
• Perform pre-operative evaluations and post-anesthesia assessments
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and hospital teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in the anesthesia call rotation

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active California medical license or ability to obtain
• DEA certification
• ACLS certification required
• Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills
