Job Summary The Microsoft Solutions Expert serves as the key resource for SHI's Microsoft clientele. This role involves identifying customer needs and recommending tailored solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. We aim to enhance our Microsoft Solutions team and are seeking an experienced individual to manage and optimize performance in key areas: CSP and EA management, SHI Professional and Managed Services, and CSP strategic growth. This is a hybrid position that reports to Austin, TX as required by business needs determined by SHI management. Role Description Focus primarily on customer retention and growth of strategic Microsoft Agreements. Support sales efforts by engaging with customers as a Microsoft subject matter expert. Maintain ongoing customer engagement regarding significant Microsoft milestones, including renewal agreements and yearly true-ups. Collaborate with customers to ascertain ideal business outcomes and promote SHI professional managed service offerings. Possess thorough knowledge of core Microsoft products, licensing strategies, and operational aspects of Microsoft Enterprise Enrollments (e.g., contracts, order processing, MSLI, MLS analysis). Assist in training SHI Sales teams on Microsoft products and programs, demonstrating how customers can benefit from utilizing these core offerings. Skill Level Requirements Proficient in applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity – Basic Level Adept in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for managing and analyzing customer interactions and data throughout the customer lifecycle – Basic Level Familiar with Cisco's suite of tools (CCW, Connect the Dots, EOL/EOS Newsletters, Webex Teams, etc.) for supporting technical and sales-related activities – Basic Level Ability to articulate various security technologies (firewalls, endpoint protection, etc.) to identify and address customer security needs – Basic Level Experienced in providing guidance and mentorship to enhance team performance and support professional growth – Basic Level Other Requirements Must have a completed Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience. 1-3 years of experience in Sales, Sales Support, IT, or a related role. Willingness to travel up to 10%. The estimated annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $150,000, including base salary and bonuses. Compensation depends on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and will vary among individuals.
