Production Welder/Fabricator

Somersworth

First shift 7:00-4:00pm

Monday-Friday

$24-$28hr based on experience

Position Summary

Looking for a Tig production welder who has 2+ years of experience for our shop.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks on various materials, such as steel, aluminum, and other metals, using various welding processes (GMAW, SAW, FCAW,) to meet precise quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate custom parts
Inspect and test welds and finished products to ensure adherence to safety standards, specifications, and quality control requirements.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fabrication equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while working in a fabrication shop or on-site to ensure a safe work environment.
Troubleshoot fabrication issues and identify solutions to maintain workflow and quality.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret blueprints for layout, cut, and various metal shapes and sizes
Proven experience as a welder and fabricator in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metalworking processes, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow OSHA guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance practices.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Driver's License, required.
