Business Unit Director

Role:

Business Unit Engagement Director serves as the strategic liaison between brand teams and Commercial Excellence & Innovation (CEI), ensuring alignment of capabilities, planning, and transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

facilitate cross-functional planning, track key milestones, connect brand needs with capability owners across Marketing Ops, Field Enablement, Patient Engagement, Market Access, and digital functions
assess capability utilization
partner on capability rollout and adoption tracking
prepare leadership updates.

Requirements:

BA/BS, 7+ years in biopharma commercial functions (marketing, field, market access, or operations)
proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
experience with pharma go-to-market models including HCP engagement, patient programs, payer strategies, and regulatory considerations
skilled in strategic judgment, stakeholder management, and executive communication.

Preferred:

advanced degree (e.g., MBA)
ability to navigate ambiguity
established stakeholder networks.

High-Value:

biopharma commercial operations
brand strategy
capability adoption
cross-functional collaboration
experience with transformation initiatives
familiarity with commercial capabilities and digital tools.
