CNC Mazak Machine Operator

Position Summary This is a 1st shift position. Operate numerically controlled milling/drilling machine to perform machining operations such as splitting, turning, drilling. Responsibilities Through blueprints and setup instructions determine dimension, proper tooling, machining required and feed and speed rates. Calls down appropriate program for part or writes program for part. Lifts and mounts work piece onto tables. Selects and installs tooling. Use numerical display on control panel comparing with data on print to verify dimensional adjustments, feeds rates and speeds on machining cuts. Notify supervisor if machined work piece does not conform to specifications or if machine malfunctions. Complete appropriate production related paperwork.
