Salt Valley Fence Company is a local, family owned business in Lincoln, NE in search of an experienced fence installer for the installation of commercial, industrial and residential fences. Fence types include chain link, ornamental, wood, vinyl and other custom styles of fence and railing. This is a full time year round position for work in the Lincoln area and surrounding communities. No overnight travel or long distance projects. Most projects within the city limits of Lincoln or a 25 mile radius.
Ideal candidate to have 3 years plus of fence related construction experience. Must have a valid drivers license and transportation and be authorized to work in the US. CDL desired but not a direct requirement. Job tasks include manual labor such as digging holes, lifting and moving construction materials, pouring concrete, dirt hauling, using small hand tools and equipment, operate heavy equipment such as skid-loaders, mini-excavators and boom lifts, and other tasks as assigned. Position will have physical requirements such as lifting heavy objects up to 60 lbs. unassisted, working in the heat, cold, mud, dust and wind. Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
Looking for a motivated, self-starting individual, opportunity to grow with the company. Must be well organized, maintain a clean working area, take care of and maintain tools and equipment, and able to work both as a team and independently when necessary.
Work schedule will be Monday-Friday with overtime and weekend work on an as-needed basis.
