The role supports monitoring and care for adult patients requiring intermediate-level acuity, including telemetry and specialized post‑procedural and respiratory needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. Schedule Days; 3x12 or 4x12 shifts (0645‑1915); minimum 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications Active Illinois license. 1 year of RN experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) not required but preferred. Experience with telemetry, neuro stepdown, and PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown patient populations. Experience with required cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, genitourinary/renal, IV therapy/phlebotomy, medication, neurological/psychiatric, orthopedic, plastic surgery, and respiratory skills as described in the unit requirements. Preferred Qualifications Cardiology‑focused certification such as ACLS. Cerner experience. Teaching hospital experience. LevelI trauma experience. Additional Information Very fast‑paced unit with high patient throughput; typical staffing reflects a 1:4 patient ratio with free‑charge support. Ability to perform tracheostomies with ventilators required; will float within scope to meet facility needs.
