Pre-Arrival Team Lead

Leading a remote team, the full-time Pre-Arrival Team Lead will coordinate daily assignments, ensure accuracy in patient registration and insurance information, and manage the workload for obtaining procedure authorizations and referrals. Key responsibilities: Oversee daily activities of the Eligibility, Benefits, and Referral teams, adjusting assignments as needed Coordinate and document referrals and authorizations, ensuring accurate communication with payers and patients Provide education and training to staff while supporting clinical areas with registration and benefit inquiries Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent certification Three years of experience in medical billing/coding Previous pre-certification experience Thorough understanding of insurance terminology and the Washington University FSC database Ability to interact effectively with managed care plans and third-party payers
