Job Title: Industrial Plant Mechanic – Frac Sand OperationsCompany: Asgard ResourcesLocation: Bainville, MT (Half-Hour Drive from Williston, ND)Pay: $30–$40/hr. DOESchedule: Full-Time | Steady Overtime Available (typically 5–6 days/week | 12-hour shifts) About Asgard ResourcesAsgard Resources is a rapidly growing frac sand processing company operating in Western North Dakota and Eastern Montana. Since 2019, we have become a trusted supplier to oil and gas operations across the United States.We are currently seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Industrial Plant Mechanic to help maintain and repair equipment at our frac sand processing facility.This is a hands-on role for someone who can troubleshoot problems, respond quickly to breakdowns, and help keep plant operations running safely and efficiently.  ResponsibilitiesInspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment and machineryPerform preventative maintenance on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, screens, bearings, hydraulics, and related systemsDiagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issuesRespond to equipment breakdowns and minimize operational downtimeReplace worn or damaged components and make necessary adjustmentsAssist with installation and setup of new equipmentPerform light welding and fabrication as neededConduct routine safety inspections and maintenance checksUse hand tools, power tools, welders, meters, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectivelyWork closely with plant operations and management teams to support production goalsMaintain compliance with MSHA safety standards and company policies Preferred QualificationsPrevious mechanic or maintenance experience in industrial, mining, aggregate, construction, agriculture, oilfield, or frac sand operations preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityExperience with conveyors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, motors, and processing equipment preferredWelding and fabrication experience is a plusAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionSafety-focused mindset with strong attention to detailAbility to work in physically demanding conditions, including outdoor weather exposure, dust, noise, and temperature changesAbility to lift 50+ lbs. and work extended hours when neededWillingness to work overtime, weekends, call-ins, or rotating shifts as operational needs require Additional InformationMSHA experience is preferred but not requiredIndividuals with their own tools and/or work truck may be compensated accordinglyTraining provided for the right candidate BenefitsTwo health insurance plan optionsCompany contributes 70% toward employee and dependent medical coverageCompany-paid life insurance and AD&DOptional dental, vision, accident, hospital indemnity, and supplemental coverage availableCompetitive pay based on experienceOpportunities for advancement and long-term growth Apply TodayLocal candidates within commuting distance of Bainville / Williston are strongly encouraged to apply.Apply online or send your resume to:View email address on ziprecruiter.com Line: Industrial Plant Mechanic ApplicationJoin a growing team that values safety, reliability, and hard work.
