PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Horsham PA 19044 - 100% on-site
• Payrate: $65.75 or 67.50/hr - based on shift
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday - Friday, with alternating weekends
• 1 st Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• 2 nd Shift: 3:30pm-12am

PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:


The Pharmacist will be responsible for safely dispensing medications, supporting medication management and patient counseling, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance

• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accept, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
• Monitor medication compliance and identify potential over-usage patterns.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
• Counsel patients regarding prescription and over-the-counter medications, including dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Provide medication consultations and answer patient questions.
• Provide patient services such as blood pressure measurement and cholesterol management.
• Compound medications for external or internal use and prepare sterile solutions according to established procedures.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, clerks, and other pharmacy staff.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Identify drug-related problems and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Ensure pharmacy activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and established procedures.

PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Current state pharmacist license required.
• Availability for the Monday-Friday schedule and alternating weekends.
