Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) - Needed in Ocean County Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare Pay range: $45.00/hr - $75.00/hr Key Responsibilities Providing individual in‑home therapy and telehealth therapy sessions Performing bio‑psycho‑social assessments (if trained or willing to train) Teaching coping and social skills, anger management, and reducing risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression Improving youth and caretaker decision‑making skills to manage in‑home behavioral challenges Collaborating effectively with the Child‑Family Treatment Team and other professionals who support the youth and family Submitting required documentation and paperwork (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.) within designated time frames Attending monthly meetings and completing mandatory clinical documentation Requirements Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related field (LSW, LAC, LFT) Clinical mental health trauma counseling training Training or willingness to complete crisis intervention training Post‑internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders Experience creating treatment plans, treatment goals, progress notes, and initial assessments Proficiency in CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and trauma response approaches Knowledge of DSM‑V for assessments and diagnosis Availability for a minimum of 6–10 hours per week during after‑school hours (12 noon – 8 pm); weekend flexibility a plus Experience providing positive behavior supports Experience working with children ages 3–20; experience with I/DD is a plus Valid driver’s license and registered vehicle Pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting Submission of resume plus copies of master’s degree and NJ license/Certification Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship (no H‑1B sponsorship) State reciprocity considered; candidate must reside within 25–30 minutes commute to service areas; licence must be registered with NJ Marriage & Family Therapy Board (PA, NY & NJ) Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage $45–$75 Dynamic work environment Opportunities for professional growth Telehealth delivery options for one‑on‑one sessions when possible Competitive pay Ongoing job training Group health coverage Paid time off: full‑time employees accrue 13–20 days annually; part‑time up to 40 hours annually Sick time off up to 40 hours per year Short‑ and long‑term disability 401(k) Note: Full‑time candidates in private practice are not accepted for this position to avoid conflicts of interest #J-18808-Ljbffr Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare
