Staff Accountant

Location: Gig Harbor, WA | Hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week)
Compensation: $65,000–$82,000 annually

CV Resources is partnering with a multi-entity client in Gig Harbor on their search for a Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation, along with experience supporting multiple companies or legal entities. What You'll Do

• Support general ledger accounting and financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are recorded appropriately.
• Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other day-to-day accounting activities as needed.
• Help research and resolve account discrepancies and maintain organized supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with internal team members and other stakeholders to support accurate and timely reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, streamline workflows, and increase efficiency.
• Learn new systems and processes while taking on additional responsibilities as the organization grows.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Prior multi-entity or multi-company accounting experience is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of month-end close procedures, journal entries, and fundamental accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to work with a variety of stakeholders.
• A proactive attitude, curiosity, and a genuine desire to learn and grow professionally.
• Experience with Yardi or other accounting/ERP systems is a plus.
• Interest in process improvement, automation, and emerging accounting technologies is a plus.
